(1) A person who wants to get a certificate of notary public must submit an application to the Council in the prescribed format with attached the prescribed fee for the certificate.
(2) If an application is received in accordance with sub-section (1), the council shall form a committee as specified to examine the application and make recommendations.
(3) If the committee as per sub-section (2) recommends giving the applicant a certificate, and if it is found to be reasonable after examining the recommendation, the council will take the guarantee from the applicant as per section 17 and give the certificate in the prescribed format.
(4) The place where the notary public can work shall be as mentioned in the certificate.
